BELLINGHAM, WA – Bellingham police reported injuries after an officer’s vehicle was struck by a civilian vehicle near the intersection of Alabama Street and Orleans Street on Wednesday night, reports KPUG 1170.
Lieutenant Claudia Murphy said that the collision occurred around 6 p.m. on Wednesday and that the injuries sustained were not life-threatening.
At this time, it is unclear whether the police officer or the civilian was injured in the crash.
The roadway was reopened around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday after police investigated the scene.
