SEATTLE, WA – Two people were injured after a pair of vehicles and a pedestrian were struck by a fleeing RV in West Seattle on Monday, reports KOMO News.

Authorities said the incident happened around 3 p.m. at the Delridge Way Southwest and Southwest Andover Street intersection.

After running a red light, the RV driver refused to pull over for a traffic stop before losing control of the vehicle. The RV then began to slide down a hill on Delridge Way SW before slamming into a tanker truck and another vehicle. It also collided with a pedestrian and a nearby building.

Following the crash, a 79-year-old man was transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries. The other victim, a 44-year-old woman, received treatment at the scene but was not hospitalized.

According to police, the driver fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended. No details on the charges they could face were provided.
