News: Five hospitalized after car crash at WA Energy in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, WA — Five people were taken to a local hospital Monday afternoon after a car accelerated through the Washington Energy building in Lynnwood, according to KOMO News.

Washington Energy said the causing driver accidentally stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brakes near the building in the 3900 block of 196th Street Southwest.

Five people, included four employees with Washington Energy, sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital in the area, according to South County Fire.

Washington Energy said it expects to provide complete services on Tuesday.

No other information has been reported about the incident.
