GIG HARBOR, WA – According to KIRO 7, a woman crashed into the Cushman Trail-Hollycroft Trailhead restroom while eluding police on Tuesday.
Officers observed a 23-year-old woman speeding and attempted to perform a traffic stop when the woman sped off.
Police did not pursue the woman since the stop was for speeding.
The driver was traveling around 70 mph when she struck a curb and went airborne before colliding with a tree and landing in the restroom.
Rescue crews transported the woman to an area hospital for evaluation.
Authorities plan on charging the driver with evading police and reckless driving.
